2004

> In October,  The Vibesetters take shape and songs are written on the islands of St. Thomas and St. John for The Vibesetters first album.  Working towards a resolution for the violence, poverty and inequality that exist in the Virgin Islands becomes the mission of the record.

>The first Vibesetters song is recorded in Estate Grunewald and it is named after a particularly people friendly rooster called Admiral who attended the recording sessions and several of The Vibesetters rehearsals.  Admiral's mother had been killed and he was destined to become a candidate for one of the local cockfighting groups or fodder for a pit bull that needed training for the local dog fights.  Fortunately, he was rescued from this fate and grew to be a proud  rooster.  He became a symbol of how an individual can survive traumatic circumstances with the right amount of love and understanding.  He contributed a vocal track to the outro of the tune.

> In late December The Vibesetters album Equity is released on Buddha Studio Recordings.  Tracks include Dance of War, Admiral, Ever the Star, Ocean, Living, Ras, You Believe, Shall not Divide US, Together, and Towards Freedom.  Some of these tracks were re-recorded for The Vibesetters 2007 album "Peace for all Beings.
